Hey, folks!
DISCLAIMER
: I am not the owner and not a part of sales team. I am just doing e-commerce business.
I would like to share a payment gateway click link (kindly click my link, because I am sharing a really valuable information). Respect other people time and effect for searching and sharing a valuable information.
Since an e-commerce business is very popular now and due to high number of drop-shippers it makes business "high-risk". This may lead to charge backs and it might bring a lot of issues for a payment gateway, especially for their bank partners.
I have recently opened my Stripe account after a long time break. Guess what happened? I was shocked to see 25% hold for 28 days. I needed to withdraw full amount of my money in order keep my business stable.
PROS
:
1) There are no frozen funds, companies can scale without the fear of frozen funds.
2) You can connect Stripe and PayPal and use them both in same dashboard.
3) You can verify your account through Stripe and start accepting payments on your website.
4) If you don't have a Stripe account , alternatively you can apply for merchant account. (Note you need have a US business and US person).
5) All Stripe accounts will work for verification purposes, but I guess the funds will be deposited in USD (if you use NON-US Stripe account, better contact their support before you start accepting payments)
6) Withdraw funds to local US bank account or internationally.
7) Payouts every 7 business days.
8) Very easy integration with Shopify and Wordpress. Alternatively, you can use their API.
CONS
:
1) High fees for a withdrawal. For example, you withdraw $250.00 , they charge $4 or $5. Also, once funds arrive there also $1 or $2 less. Depends on the amount.
2) You need to manually withdraw funds.
3) In total it takes 9 business days, that is maximum, for funds to be available in your bank account.
4) You need to maintain $5000.00 per month.
